Service Terms

The free preview is one initial, non-production website direction based on the information provided and relevant public business information. It is not a completed, hosted or guaranteed-to-rank website. No payment or purchase obligation arises from requesting it.

A paid project begins only after written plan selection, direction approval and the applicable first payment. The standard scope is one page of up to seven sections, responsive implementation, initial copy/image direction and two consolidated revision rounds. Any written proposal or invoice can add or replace scope.

The client must provide accurate business details, timely feedback, rights to supplied content and access needed for approved domain or hosting work. Delays in those inputs extend delivery dates. The client remains responsible for reviewing business claims, prices, regulated-industry statements and legal compliance before publication.

Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes. Managed Website founding pricing is $399 setup ($199 after direction approval and $200 at launch), then $69 per month beginning when the site is live. Own Your Website founding pricing is $899 ($449 after direction approval and $450 after final approval, before handoff). Third-party fees are separate unless written scope says otherwise.

Paid scope includes two consolidated revision rounds. A revision adjusts the approved direction; a new page, changed objective, substantial redesign, integration or new content set may require a separate quote. No extra charge is incurred without approval.

The client owns its domain, branding, supplied content and customer data. Seaway Sites retains its pre-existing tools, reusable techniques and internal systems. The ownership plan includes the final website source files after full payment. The managed plan provides an ongoing hosted service; source transfer is not included unless agreed separately.

The monthly managed service includes hosting, SSL, monitoring, technical maintenance and up to two small content-update requests per month, each normally limited to about 30 minutes. Unused requests do not accumulate. The client may cancel before the next billing date; service continues through the paid period and then may be taken offline. Domain ownership remains with the client.

The ownership plan includes 30 days of correction for reproducible bugs in the delivered website. New features or content are not bug fixes. Third-party platforms are governed by their own terms and availability; Seaway Sites is not responsible for outages or policy changes outside its control.

Seaway Sites will not present a business as a client case study or publish confidential project information without permission. Demonstration previews are labeled as examples. Either party should identify information requiring confidential treatment before sharing it.

Services are provided with reasonable care but no guarantee is made about rankings, traffic, leads, revenue or uninterrupted third-party service. To the extent permitted by law, liability connected with a paid project is limited to the amount paid for that project during the preceding 12 months. Nothing here removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Either party may end work for material breach after a reasonable opportunity to correct it. Seaway Sites may pause work for overdue payment or unsafe/unlawful instructions. Completed work and earned fees remain payable; unearned prepaid amounts are handled under the refund policy.
